Lincoln Center Summer for the City
Celebrate the Performing Arts this Summer in NYC
This summer, Lincoln Center once again transforms into a city-wide celebration of art, culture, and connection with the return of Summer for the City. From June through August, the entire Lincoln Center campus comes alive with free concerts, dance parties, theater, film screenings, and interactive installations, offering something for everyone, all summer long.
The season kicks off with “Soundcake,” a dazzling drag opera featuring RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Monét X Change and Sapphira Cristál. Visitors can also explore The Underground, a speakeasy-style venue returning by popular demand, and experience vibrant new visual designs across the campus curated by Artist-in-Residence Clint Ramos. With inclusive programming and a welcoming atmosphere, Summer for the City offers the perfect way to spend warm evenings in New York—whether you're here for a concert under the stars or a pop-up performance with friends. Many events are free, and ticketed shows follow a flexible Choose-What-You-Pay model to keep things accessible for all.
Check back soon for the full schedule—and get ready for a summer of unforgettable performances and joyful city moments at Lincoln Center. Summer for the City is a great opportunity to experience the best of New York City's arts and culture scene, conveniently located beside the Empire Hotel.
